Canyoning at Rio Selvano

The most beautiful Canyon in Tuscany, the meeting point where we will organize for the descent is also a great place to rest at the exit of the canyon.

We will wear the suit and start to walk and enter to the thick vegetation of the Selvano. The water is cold, even during the summer, but the fun and the uncontaminated environment will warm our souls.

Jumps, dives and rope descents for almost 3 hours of exciting journey.

The descent of the Rio Selvano is undoubtedly the funniest canyoning activity in Tuscany and probably in all of Italy, a natural attraction of extraordinary value.

In this discipline we will combine fun with the exploration of spectacular hidden natural beauty. An excursion that will will take you on a journey of millions of years through the various layers of rock where the water still continues to dig.
Our route takes place totally downhill, thanks to professional guides with over 20 years of experience and perfect knowledge of the environment we will be able to dive into the pools natural and crystalline, alternatively we will use the ropes to abseil in safety, a mix of fun and adrenaline to share with friends.
We will wear wetsuit and neoprene shoes 5mm thick and we can slide and dive from various heights, it will be a gradual approach to the highest and most fun tuffs. Thanks to the experience of the guides, no special skills are required to participate in this activity.

We will use in some situations the ropes to descend in places where it is not possible to dive or slide, so it will be a complete experience. An active and fun way to admire the splendor of nature.

Very fun canyoning with lots of jumps and sliding from 1 to 8 meters high, rope abseiling along the Rio Selvano stream.

Time of the activity: 4 hours

Meeting Time: at 9.30am on Saturday or at 2.30pm on Tuesday and Sunday

Number of Participants: minimum 4. Minimum age 8 years old. Under 18 years old it is necessary to have parents authorization or one parent in the group.

What is included?
All the necessary equipment including wetsuit, neoprene socks, harness, helmet, ropes.

What to bring
Sport shoes or trekking boots, underwear, towel.

Cost: € 70.00 per person

In case of adverse weather conditions or if the minimum number of 4 participants is not reached, the excursion will be cancelled.
