Mattarello – Osteria dell’Isola is located along the strategic road that connects, in less than 50 minutes, the Garfagnana valley with the beaches of Forte dei Marmi, Marina di Massa, Viareggio and the Versilia coast.

It lies right above the lake and the village of Isola Santa, one of the most evocative places in the Turrite Secca valley. The atmosphere is informal, like an agricultural restaurant, with home cooking, wood-fired bread, first courses with hand-made pasta, delicious grilled meats and a wide choice of wines, mostly produced on the farm.

During the summer, excellent rainbow and brown trout, fished in the lake.
