The hotel is located in Casone di Profecchia, on the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines in the municipality of Castiglione di Garfagnana.

The hotel, which still retains all the charm of the old post for the changing of horses, has 38 rooms for 100 beds. The rooms are tastefully furnished, some with antiques and equipped with bathroom, telephone, television and independent heating.

The restaurant, known for its excellent home cooking, combines the traditional flavors of Garfagnana with the refined richness of the great Emilian cuisine.

In the winter season it is possible to practice skiing and other winter sports on the comfortable slopes located in front of the hotel, equipped with programmed snowmaking systems.

In the summer season it is possible to practice tennis, trekking, mountain biking, grass skiing, soccer, horse riding, adventure park and many other sports or look for porcini mushrooms in the splendid surrounding beech woods.
