The Villa was built 500 years ago by a noble family from Florence as a retreat. It still is. The villa is part of a country estate, which stretches over 140 acres of grazing land, forests and a waterfall which runs through the land. It was purchased by Patricia and Moshik during 2013. The main building houses the lobby and breakfast areas, while the nearby buildings which are eighteenth century, houses the guestrooms which are designed to the highest standard and adapted to the environment and the nature of the villa.

The estate is minutes away from the vibrant village of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, which is the center of the valley and the heart of the national park. There are dozens of fine restaurants, where you can find great local food, quaint little shops and discover a Tuscany which is almost lost.

For those who want to relax there are two designed swimming pools in the estate. You can indulge in a bocce match, take a stroll within the estate or go to the fitness and wellness center which is two minutes away.

Breakfast is based on fresh local products. The food, like the atmosphere is relaxed and informal.
