The Fortress of Verrucole is one of the most representative monuments of the Garfagnana and of the Este military fortification system. The visit is an engaging experience, thanks to the presence of guide-reenactors who recreated life in the fort at the end of the 13th century. But visitors, children and adults, can deepen their knowledge of life in the Middle Ages by getting involved in the first person in the educational activities, with direct registration on the days when they are proposed by the structure, or by reservation, at least two days before, for minimum groups of 10 people.
The cost of the workshops is to be added to the cost of the entrance ticket.
